Brooklynn Lynch Named 2014 Miss Faulkner State
Miss Faulkner State 2014
On March 20, Faulkner State Community College crowned Brooklynn Paige Lynch of Creola, Ala. as its 2014 Miss Faulkner State.
Lynch is the daughter of Clint and Wendy Lynch. She is pursuing a career in dental assisting.
Lynch has already made a distinct impression during her first year at
Faulkner State as a Sun Chief Cheerleader while still maintaining a
Lynch will serve her sophomore year as Miss Faulkner State.
Twenty-five contestants participated in this year’s pageant in the L. D. Owen Performing Arts Center on the Bay Minette
Campus. Featured in the 2014 Miss Faulkner State Pageant were:
Brooklynn Paige Lynch (Miss Faulkner State), Kaela Adams (First
Runner-Up), Christian Taylor Early (Second Runner-Up), Ashley Brokenshaw
(Miss Congeniality), Jerrica Perry (Most Photogenic) KayLeigh Gardner
(People’s Choice Award), Molly Barnett, Jessica Byrd, Destiny
Carroll, Candace Coleman, Taylor Comeaux, Lindsay Gagliano, Ariel
Holland, Maegan McDonald, Brantley McKinion, Autumn Nitz, Jasmine
Owens, Cassidy Roberts, Hannah Shelton, Leslie Simmons, Lila Smith,
Carleen Toomey, Aren Valrie, Keyonna Wilder and Joanna Wilger.
Contestants must attend dress rehearsals, a community service
project, interviews and four weeks of practice. Applications for the
pageant are accepted each spring. Students
participating in the pageant must meet the following criteria:
minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, be a full-time freshman who has
completed one semester at Faulkner State prior to the pageant, and
they must meet any additional criteria listed on the Miss Faulkner
