FSCC Nursing Program Recognized Nationally
Faulkner State’s Nursing Program received second runner-up for their video entry of “Texting While Driving,” a simulation with the iStan human simulator at the 2012 METI Awards in Tampa, Fla.
This national recognition comes shortly after the nursing program has taken simulations by storm by utilizing “iStan,” which was added to the College in 2010. The Nursing Program has received outstanding media coverage and praise for their efforts in spreading awareness for the dangers of texting while driving.
