Phi Theta Kappa
Phi Theta Kappa is the only international honor society for two-year college students. The purposes of the society are to promote scholarship, to develop character, and to cultivate fellowship among the students. Students must have completed at least twelve (12) semester hours of college credit and have a current G.P.A. of 3.5 and a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0. Members need to maintain a G.P.A. of 3.0. Letters to eligible members are mailed in September and January. Inductions are held in the fall and spring semesters. Members are recognized at graduation ceremonies by wearing the Phi Theta Kappa honor stole and tassel.
PTK Blood Drive
There will be a PTK sponsored Blood Drive on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Fort Cruse Log Cabin on the Bay Minette Campus. For information, call 251-580-2106.
PTK Spring Induction
The Spring 2012 Induction Ceremony will be on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. in the L. D. Owen Performing Arts Center on the Bay Minette Campus. A reception will follow in the Fort Cruse Log Cabin. More than 100 new inductees have been invited to participate in the ceremony. For information on the induction, call 251-580-2106.
