Who is eligible to apply?
- Students are eligible each year for nomination by their two-year degree granting institutions throughout the United States.
Prospective applicants must be:
- U.S. citizens or permanent residents;
- carrying a minimum 2.5 GPA at the time of nomination;
- able to document a minimum 100 hours of community service in the twelve months prior to nomination;
- planning to enroll in at least two courses during the next term at a two-year degree granting institution.
- Can you send students applications?
- Nomination materials are sent to the two-year degree granting institutions each December. Colleges are asked to determine a nomination process within their community that will result in the subsequent nomination of no more than two students from each campus. Please see Lena Dexter in the McGowan Administrative Annex for details.
- How many scholarships do you award?
- The Coca-Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded each year to 350 eligible students planning to enroll in any accredited two-year degree granting institution in the United States. Each scholarship is non-renewable and has a value of $1,000 for use towards tuition and other related educational expenses.
Application & Deadline
Print and complete the
application form and return it to Lena Dexter in the McGowan Administrative Annex no later than Monday, May 12, 2008.
Only two students can be nominated from each campus. The nominees will be notified by Thursday, May 15, 2008. Instructions on how to complete the application process with Coca-Cola will be provided to the nominees.
