About the CPD

The Faulkner State Center for Professional Development (CPD) provides support of economic growth through professional development, recreational classes and workforce training initiatives. The Center will seek to provide quality professional education to individuals and corporate clients in order to enhance careers, foster workforce development and provide community enrichment.

Kids’ Camp 2013

The Center for Professional Development is now registering children for Kids’ Camp 2013!  With camps focused on music, theatre, computer technology, culinary and ecology, Kids’ Camp aims to provide great camps filled with age-appropriate, hands-on educational activities.  Camps are available for children ages 8 to 13.  To read about each camp and to access registration information, click the link below.

How to Register

Pre-registration is required for all classes and your registration is not considered complete unless your payment is received before class starts.  Below is the CPD Course Schedule listing all current course offerings, including courses in Training for Existing Business and Industry, Continuing Education, Cisco Networking Academy, WIA Programs, Dental/Nursing and Culinary:

• You must pre-register for CPD courses.  Complete and submit the CPD Online Registration form to ensure your enrollment.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

To receive a refund for a course, students must withdraw prior to the second scheduled class meeting. For workshops, conferences, seminars and one-day classes, students must withdraw prior to the first scheduled class meeting. Failure to attend a class does not constitute cancellation. All registrations will be refunded in full for class cancellations due to insufficient enrollment. Refunds will be mailed to the address listed in the student information database. Please email withdrawal request to cpd@faulknerstate.edu or call 251-990-0445.
